For the last 2 years , No Soxx Volleyball has sent 30 players to Southern California to play in Karch Kiraly's US Open of Beach Volleyball. This years event is to be held Sept 25-27th at Manhattan Beach.

We have hosted a Qualifying Tournament at Lone Star in 07 & 08 and will be hosting our main Qualifier at Lone Star on Aug 15th.

 

In order to offer more Travel packages and Berths in the event, we will be hosting a US OPEN QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT at Backyard Beach Bar on Sat Aug 1 with all 4 of the winning players receiving a $300 Travel Stipend for Airfare to the event in California. Even though we are hosting a Co-ed 4's Tournament, players must be prepared to play 2's in the Tournament in California. By offering 4's we can get more people qualified and our goal is to send over 30 players on a memorable roadtrip. In California, the Same Gender 2's is played on Saturday and all Co-ed is played on Sunday. Most players last year played in both by simply matching up with other players and making a whole weekend out of it. They offer B (novice) BB, A, AA & Open, so we can play whatever division you feel most comfortable competing in. Most of the players from the past 2 years have been folks from our Co-ed 4's Leagues and they have done very well competing against players from around the country. In the past 2 years we have One 1st Place, and 3 Runners-up.

 

In order to provide this travel package we only need 10 teams.
