"A" Captains,
PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE EMAIL AND FORWARD TO ALL TEAM MATES
Schedule for week 1 (Tomorrow night is posted)
As before these will be predominantly later games.
ALL ENTRY FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO FIRST MATCH.
I know most of you are my friends , but if we are going to guarantee $600
in prize money, I want the teams to take the responsibility for collecting
and turning in the $160 team entry fee ALL AT ONCE, before you play.
This applies to all players whether you are my webmaster , son or
daughter, center on my hockey team, one of my referees, or if we have
shared special moments, like the US OPEN or passionate cuddling.
$600 is a very significant amount of prize money which rivals many cash
tournaments and I don't feel guilt asking that players hold up their end
of the bargain in a prompt and thorough manner.
Dollar amounts paid by each team will be posted with the schedule and it
will be public knowledge that our policy for this league is:
TEAMS THAT DON'T PAY IN FULL BEFORE THE FIRST GAME WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE
FOR PRIZE MONEY.....NO EXCEPTIONS. (if you only bring $120 you won't be
eligible for prize money)
It will be posted and other teams will know who has not paid before the
first game and will probably hold me to the rule.
Not all players paid last time, (you know who you are) but I still gave
out $400.
This will not happen again !
With this kind of purse offered, all teams will need to submit their
roster BY EMAIL ASAP !
Players on the roster will be marked as paid.
ALSO
FREE SUBS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
PLAYERS CANNOT PLAY OR SUB ON MORE THAN ONE TEAM.
ALL SUBS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY $10 FOR THE EVENINGS DOUBLEHEADER.
NO SUBS WILL BE ALLOWED DURING THE REGULAR SEASON WITHOUT NO SOXX
APPROVAL.

SUBS ALLOWED IN THE PLAYOFFS
ANY TEAMS THAT FORFEIT A MATCH DURING THE REGULAR SEASON WILL NOT BE
ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZE MONEY
WINNING TEAMS THAT FAIL TO RECORD THEIR
RESULTS ON THE CLIPBOARD OR REPORT THEM TO NO SOXX STAFF ON DUTY WILL BE
GIVEN A LOSS. WE WILL NOT GO BACK OVER THE STANDINGS TO DETERMINE PAST
RESULTS. IF VICTORIES ARE NOT RECORDED THAT NIGHT, AS THEY HAPPEN, TEAMS
WILL BE CREDITED WITH A LOSS IN THE STANDINGS AND RESULT WILL NOT BE
CHANGED.
I expect all teams to hold me to these rules and DON'T ASK FOR EXCEPTIONS
!
If we can adhere to these rules and the league grows, I will be glad to
increase the purse to also include 3rd place, so let's do what we know is
right and see how competitive we can make this league.
Registration will close tomorrow night and be sure to check the schedule
tomorrow afternoon for any late additions or changes.
